Trogir – Discover Dalmatia

Trogir is a jewel of a town encased in 15th-century walls. It is set on a narrow island that is linked by a bridge to the mainland on one side and by another bridge to the island of Čiovo.

Being at only 5 km distance from the Split airport and 15 km distance from the entrance to the highway, Trogir is a destination that simply cannot be bypassed.

Restricted in size but, at the same time, preserving all of its magic and charm, this small secluded area takes you back in history where you can roam the narrow streets and enjoy the majestic noblemen palaces. With its pleasing blend of Romanesque and Renaissance architecture, Trogir boasts a spectacular Venetian cathedral of St. Lovro, a 15th-century town hall, the Church of St. John the Baptist with its gorgeous carved portal.

UNESCO placed Trogir on its World Heritage List in 1997.
